November 2010. Howard Theatre is a three-storey Ketton stone building, with a Doric colonnade, forming the final side of court, opposite Wilkins’s west range and at right angles to two other Terry buildings. The 160-seat theatre within was inspired by Wilkins’ Theatre Royal at Bury St Edmunds with galleries on three sides. Its ceiling has roundels painted with classical scenes.
